Brothers and Sisters,

First let me start by thanking Brother Randy Atchley for stepping up and taking on the 2007 MDA Fill-the-Boot Campaign on short notice.  Brother Atchley was not afforded as much time to plan and communicate as we would have liked, but through his efforts, the MFFA was able to collect almost $7000 for Jerry's kids. 

After a long absence from Fill-the-Boot participation, Local 4017 has now built a 3 year history of participation to build on.  We continue to look for ways to improve participation as well as collections.  The MDA Committee will meet in September to discuss ideas for the 2008 campaign.  Any members interested in attending this meeting please contact Brother Atchley at 972-838-3116.

Tentative date for the 2008 Fill-the-Boot is April.  Thanks again for all those who helped collect for Jerry's kids!
